Heading Tags

Use h1 to h6 elements only for headings. Do not use them just to make text bold or big. Use other tags for that.

Tags:

• <h1> </h1>
• <h2> </h2>
• <h3> </h3>
• <h4> </h4>
• <h5> </h5>
• <h6> </h6>

Code:

• <h1>This is heading 1</h1>
• <h2>This is heading 2</h2>
• <h3>This is heading 3</h3>
• <h4>This is heading 4</h4>
• <h5>This is heading 5</h5>
• <h6>This is heading 6</h6>

Example:

Girls Rock:

1. Add some headings to your page.
2. Use a heading 1 to make a heading at the top of your page
3. Use at least one heading 2
4. Use at least one heading 3 -- it must follow a heading 2
5. Optional: include headings 4, 5, & 6
